The Ruger™ 22 Charger™ is described by the manufacturer as “A Plinker’s Dream”. It is basically a short barrel pistol-style variant of Ruger’s 10/22 rifle that became a fan favorite for varmint hunting and target shooting. FJF’s precision-manufactured 22 Charger™ “drop-in” pistol barrels are milled from 4150V chrome moly vanadium steel with the same precision and quality you have come to expect from FJF. Adding one of our Charger barrels is like getting an instant upgrade that improves the accuracy of your pistol shooting.
Threaded Barrel
Many shooters enjoy the fitting silencers to their Ruger™ 22 Charger™ pistols for quieter shooting. Our 10/22 threaded bull and fluted barrels use the popular thread pitch of ½-28 x .400 that is compatible with many favored silencers and other barrel-end accessories on the market. Each FJF threaded barrel comes with a rubber gasket and a matching thread protector. Additional thread protectors are available for purchase.
Fluted Bull Profile
Fluted bull barrels can weigh less than non-fluted bull barrels. Fluting adds surface area to a barrel for potentially more efficient cooling. Fluting also looks great adding interest to your Ruger™ 22 Charger™ pistol.
Matte Black Finish
Our 22 Charger™ bull barrels look as good as they shoot. Our matte finish for chrome moly vanadium steel is evenly applied with media blasting and blackening technologies that give our matte barrels a low reflectivity with diffused highlights. The coating will provide years of protection and corrosion resistance to your barrel.
Compatibility
F.J. Feddersen’s 10-inch 22 Charger threaded and fluted bull pistol barrels are compatible with Ruger’s 22 Charger™ pistols with .920 profiles. Our drop-in 22 Charger™ barrels slip into your existing receiver and interchange easily with the factory barrel. FJF Charger bull barrel fits original wooden stocks and aftermarket stocks made for .920 bull barrels. Please note that the new 2nd generation 22 Charger pistols have black polymer stocks that fit tapered barrels.
